Who we are

Sunfitters was founded in 2006 as an online beach shop that offers quality beachwear and related merchandise for the discriminating beach traveler. We are headquartered in Kingston, Massachusetts (just north of Cape Cod).

Sunfitters identifies itself as a "beach shop" rather than a "surf shop". Unlike surf shops, Sunfitters' merchandising and marketing efforts do not cater to surfers, water sport enthusiasts or teens who live near the beach.

Instead, our product selection is designed to equip beach travelers heading for a seaside destination. Whether they're planning a trip to the Caribbean, to Florida, to Mexico or scores of other warm sunny places -- Sunfitters carries products essential for family beach travel.

Our founder, Bill Mirabito, is a longtime veteran of online business. He keeps a chronicle of Sunfitters history and development at his blog, ModestMerchant.com. Sunfitters is also a member of Shop.org, the ecommerce division of the National Federation of Retailers.

Sunfitters.com offers free ground shipping within the Continental U.S. on purchases of $70+ and provides same day shipping for orders received weekdays before 2PM Eastern. We carry more than 500 styles across three product lines:

How do I get paid? And how often?

ShareASale will send you a check for a percentage of the sales you referred to our site every calendar month, provided you've earned more than $25.00 (USD).

How do I know how much commission I've earned?

Through the ShareASale affiliate interface, you can access reports. Reports are updated daily and provide information on impressions, clicks through, orders, shipments, and commissions earned.

Do I earn commissions on my own purchases?

Yes. All purchases, including those you make yourself, will earn a commission provided the links on your web site are used to come to our storefront.

What if I need to contact Sunfitters?

Qualification highlights

To qualify for our affiliate program, you must meet the following conditions:

  • Your site may not contain questionable material, such as explicit adult content or other information we consider offensive to the public or harmful to our brand image. In addition, your site may not link directly to external sites containing such material.
  • You must maintain your site in a manner that is aesthetically pleasing and easy to use.
  • You must read and accept our Affiliate Agreement before applying to the program.
  • You must acknowledge that Sunfitters has sole discretion to deny any applicant who fails to meet the above criteria. (If denied, applicants may re-apply at any time.)
